iPhone?????

FINALLY!!!!! So I was sitting at home Saturday morning and I just happened across the Verizon website. I had been checking up every so often (okay, maybe everyday) to see the expected ship dates. Usually (to my dismay) the ship date was 2 weeks in the future. Well, on Saturday, there was NO ship date. I immediately called the closest Verizon store. They did not answer. I called back. Still no one answered. I mean, it was only 10 minutes before they opened. I waited (30 seconds) and called back. I guess the guy got tired of the phone ringing and answered. The guy checked and said he had four in stock and that he could hold one for me. Naturally, I didn't take a shower (almost going in my sweats and slippers) and I hopped on over there as legally as I could. 45 minutes later, I finally had my iPhone. Now everything in our iLife is synced with Mac, so when they take over the world, we'll either be spared or the first ones to parish. Only time will tell.

What am I doing here?

So, today I had a 9 hour rehearsal (1 hour for lunch and 1 hour clean up = 10 hours???) at school for the winter drum line and winter guard groups. I love my job and I love what I do, but do I love it more than my family? Kathleen and Addison went to Greensboro to the Children's Museum to see Addison's Grand Dad play a gig for MLK day. Was I there? Will I ever be able to attend any family events in the months of Feb - April and July - October? Will I ever get paid for the actual amount of work I do? Are there other occupations that I could do that would allow for more family time and better pay? Ugh!
