Updates

If you've been keeping up, we're pretty much hanging by a thread in the Gee household. June can't come soon enough.

March kind of sucks for us. We both have concerts next week, the following week I have bus training (yay activity buses) 3 days that week and Kathleen has MPA (music performance adjudication), then the next week I have MPA and we leave for New Orleans with our students that Thursday. We'll be in NOLA for 4 days and we'll get back very early Monday morning. Thankfully, that weekend will be our spring break (the first one we've had since we've been teaching!). We plan on doing a little cleaning around the house, but mostly just sitting on our butts catching up and refueling for the last 2 months of school. Let's not even talk about April...

The new car situation (or "The Devil" as Kat likes to think of it) is picking up some steam again. My parents are going to help with a down payment and we should be able to keep a monthly payment in a comfortable range. My fb peeps will be the first to know and I'll def post, with pics, if we get a new car.

I got to go to a Duke - Wake game the other night. Wake almost came back. The atmosphere was great the last 10 minutes of the game. Looking forward to tomorrows match up!

Yeah, I'm going to be that guy!

Addison is literally growing like a weed. Every day when we put her in the car seat (which is now facing forward!), it looks like she's grown a few inches. She's saying more words and getting ever so close to running. Ugh, she won't be a baby for much longer. Her (2nd) black eye is almost healed and she's on some meds to kick a little runny nose and cough. For the most part, she never complains (knock on wood BIG TIME!!).

Until next time, dear readers...

I'm really not that type of Duke fan, but this was too good to pass up.
